STORK is a medium-sized service company in the field of recycling, recovery and disposal. STORK Umwelt GmbH, based in Leipzig, offers processing mechanisms for slag and other mineral waste, similar to those at the Magdeburg headquarters, with a focus on metal recovery.

Highly efficient recovery

The company is particularly efficient in the highly efficient recovery of metallic raw materials such as aluminum, copper and stainless steel.

An interim storage facility for hazardous waste has also been approved at this site. The expansion of the site in 2018 will enable a total annual processing volume of 250,000 tons of mineral waste.
